TSC Agar (base)
Description

TSC Agar (BASE) is a medium used for the enumeration of spores of sulfite-reducing anaerobes in water. The typical composition corresponds to that defined in the standard NF EN 26461-2 (ISO 6461-2).

The medium can also be used with cycloserine for the detection of Clostridium perfringens according to NF EN ISO 15213-2, NF EN ISO 14189 and NF V08-061 (refer to the technical data sheet for TSC Agar).
