Tryptone-Bile-X-Glucuronate (TBX) Agar
TBX Agar is a selective medium for the enumeration of β-D-glucuronidase-positive E. coli in food products. The result is obtained directly by counting characteristic colonies after only 24 hours of incubation and no confirmation step is required.
