IRIS Salmonella® constitutes a new, alternative method for the detection of Salmonella in human and animal foodstuffs, as well as environmental samples (excluding primary production samples).
Test results can be declared negative as soon as 37 hours after enrichment (IRIS Salmonella® Enrichment) and differentiation (IRIS Salmonella® Agar) steps.
The method allows the detection of all Salmonella, mobile and immobile.
Confirmation of presumptive positive samples is performed with a latex agglutination test or by classical methods described in standardized tests.
IRIS Salmonella® is officially certified by AFNOR Validation.
