The full Holmen range of Pellet Durability Testers are exclusively Made in Britain by TEKPRO, and offer a fast and reliable method of testing PDI or Mechanical Durability. From feed pellets to wood pellets, either manual or automatic testing, TEKPRO provides the solution whatever the size of your mill!

The basic NHP100 is a popular machine for small companies, but quality focused feed mills typically prefer the NHP200. This is due to its ease of use and provides the repeatable accuracy of the test process.

For larger companies who manufacture pellets in bulk volume, TEKPRO can also provide the advanced NHP300, together with Samplex IL50 inline samplers to test directly after the press, before too much product has been produced. This can help to substantially reduce the need for rework, and enable optimised production efficiency.

Recommendation:

• Use NHP100 if you need a simple, low-cost, portable tester for spot checks or field use, especially in feed pellet testing.

• Choose NHP200 when you want reliable, repeatable lab-based results and want to minimize human error, ideal for QA labs.

• Go with NHP300 if you run a large-scale production facility and want inline, real-time PDI feedback to optimize your process and reduce waste.

• Use the Ligno-Tester if you’re specifically dealing with wood pellets and need compliance with ISO 17831-1 or want to mimic transport stress.
