easySpiral Pro

easySpiral Pro is an automatic plater of Petri dishes. It allows plating of a sample of 100 to 1×10⁷ CFU/mL on one Petri dish, without prior dilution. Traceability is ensured and volumes are programmable via USB connection.

easySpiral Pro plater is used for enumeration during microbial control. The Spiral plating technique is often used for the detection of microorganisms with a quality criterion higher than 100 CFU/g. ISO 4833-2 provides a framework for the use of this technique for the detection of total flora. The constant mode, equivalent to a homogeneous surface plating, allows the enumeration of microorganisms with quality criteria lower than 100 CFU/g.
