Danisco® Xylanase

Danisco® Xylanase from IFF is a highly effective feed enzyme that acts on the non-starch polysaccharides (NSPs) found in cereal grains like wheat, rye, and barley. By targeting and breaking down xylans, this enzyme reduces digesta viscosity, which is a major anti-nutritional factor. This action not only improves nutrient and energy availability but also supports a healthier gut environment. The result is better feed utilization, enhanced animal performance, and improved litter quality, allowing for greater flexibility in diet formulation. 

Application Recommendations 

Poultry 

• Broilers & Layers: Improves the digestibility of energy and amino acids in cereal-based diets. It reduces digesta viscosity to support optimal gut health and nutrient absorption, leading to improved feed conversion ratio (FCR), body weight gain (ADG), and better fecal consistency. Dosing: 640-2500 U/ton of feed 

• Turkeys: Enhances nutrient release from high-fiber feedstuffs, supporting efficient growth and overall performance. Dosing: 1250-2500 U/kg feed 

Swine 

• Piglets & Weaners: Helps pigs overcome the challenges of weaning by improving the digestibility of fibrous feedstuffs. It enhances nutrient uptake to support robust growth and intestinal health. Dosing: 2000-4000 U/kg of finish feed 

• Growers & Finishers: Supports efficient utilization of a wide range of cereal grains, allowing for more flexible and cost-effective diet formulation. Dosing: 2000-4000 U/kg of finish feed
