BIO-SIL®

BIO-SIL® is a freeze-dried biological additive based on homofermentative lactic acid bacteria. It rapidly converts plant sugars to lactic acid, securing a quick pH drop, protecting true protein, and reducing dry-matter losses. Suitable for grass, maize, legumes, and whole-crop cereals. Improves digestibility and can be used together with molasses when needed. Supports milk yield by preserving nutrients for the cow instead of losing them in the clamp.

Recommended use

  • Pack size & dose: 100 g sachet treats 100 t of fresh forage

  • Preparation: Dissolve in clean (non-chlorinated) water and apply with a standard liquid applicator

  • Feeding: With good chop, compaction, and sealing, feed-out can begin from ~day 7 post-ensiling

  • Crop suitability: Easy to medium ensilable crops, including grass, maize, legumes, and whole-crop cereals
