The BACGene Legionella Multiplex detection kit provides materials for rapid confirmation of Legionella colonies, as well as the discrimination of the phylogenetic groups Legionella spp., Legionella pneumophila and Legionella pneumophila subsp. pneumophila SG1. The kit is only intended for the confirmation and identification of presumptive Legionella colonies, not for analysis of water samples.
